All submissions, including letters to the editors / book / TV / radio / web-site & digital media / film reviews, should be submitted online on the journal's submission website. Articles are reviewed on the understanding that they are submitted solely to this Journal. If accepted, they may not be published elsewhere in full or in part without the General Editors' permission. The IJMCS actively welcomes both 'debate' style articles and articles written in response to debates. In keeping with standard practice, exchanges on debate pieces will follow the format of (1) the debate article, followed by (2) a comment or rebuttal and (3) a response from the original author.
Please save your manuscript into the following separate files – Title; Abstract/Introduction; Manuscript; Appendix. To ensure anonymity in the review process, do not include the names of authors or institution in the abstract or body of the manuscript.
All academic contributors should include a file containing the title of the contribution together with a word count and the author's name and contact details.
A separate file containing an abstract of no more than 250 words should be included. References should not be cited in the abstract.
As a rule, full articles should not exceed 8,000 words (endnotes and references will not be counted as part of this total). Longer articles will be considered on their merits. All material should be double-spaced. Each page of the manuscript should be numbered. Endnotes should be numbered consecutively and placed together at the end of the article. Short quotations within the text should be marked by single quotation marks. Longer quotations should be inset from the main text and typed single spaced.

1. Manuscript submission policies
- Manuscript should be written in English and should be submitted to the Editor-in-chief via online submission system or electronically through the online system as e-mail attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- The author(s) must prepare their file in MS Word format or any other equivalent format. PdF and other format will not be accepted
- In the case of online submission through manuscript submission portal, the entire paper must be submitted in ONE document (Title page, abstract page, and the main article)
- No inclusion of any institutional graphics or logos
- Documents must be tidy and not show any history of tracked changes or comments
- No changes in the paper title, abstract, authorship, and actual paper can be made after the submission deadline
2. General Manuscript Guidelines (Format)
- Margin: Set the paper size to A4 with 2.2cm on all sides (Top, bottom, left, right.)
- Font size and type: The fonts to be used are Book Antiqua in 11 point pitch. Main headings-14 and subheadings-12. Please use BOLD for paper title.
- Headings: Major and secondary headings must be BOLD, left-justified and in lower case.
- Spacing and punctuation: Space once after commas, colons and semicolons within sentences. The body of the papers should be single spaced.
- Line spacing: Single spaced throughout the paper, including the title page, abstract, body of the document, tables, figures, diagrams, pictures, references and appendices.
- Paragraphing: A blank line between paragraphs should be left without indent.
- Footnotes: Footnotes should be numbered consecutively.
- Nothing should be underlined and do not use any boarders
3.Structure of the Manuscript
3.1 Cover page: The cover page of the manuscript must be organised as follows:
- Title of the Article (Maximum 30 words) –Paper title to be centred on the page, uppercase and lowercase letters, Font size 14, bold
- 2Author (s) name (s): Uppercase and lowercase letters, centred on the line following the title, font size 12, bold
- Institutional affiliation: Author(s) affiliation and contact details: (all author(s)' full names, current affiliations, correct email addresses, and postal addresses)
- Authors note: Provide information about the author`s departmental affiliation, acknowledgment for any financial and non-financial assistance, mailing address for correspondence, email addresses for all co-authors
- Key words: Maximum 6 key words in alphabetical order
3.2 Abstract: The abstract is self-contained summary of the most important elements of the paper. It intends to capture the interest of a potential reader of your paper.
An abstract should addressed the following:
- Purpose of the research
- Practical implications and Conclusions
The following guidelines should be adhered:
- Pagination: The abstract begins on a new page
- Heading: Upper and lower case letters with 12 font size bold and align text to the left.
- Length and format: Maximum 250 words
- Do not include any citations, figures or tables in your abstract
3.3. Body of the manuscript
From the next section (after abstract), the rest of manuscript should be organised and the main body of the paper can be divided into section and sub-sections. Section and sub-section should be numbered and should be typed in BOLD. The manuscript should be organised as follows:
- he Introduction
- Literature review
- Research methodology
- Discussions and conclusions
- Limitations and direction for future research
3.4. Use of Table, Figures and Equations
- All tables are to be centred and numbered sequentially, with their title centred below the table. Tables/figures should be places within the text as required.
- All tables/figures/diagrams must be placed in the main manuscript (within the text) and cannot be submitted as separate files or do not include after the references
- All figures must be reproduced black and white. A good quality graphic software to be used and figures are to be centred with the caption to be centred below the figure
- All equations must be typeset with the same word processor and type in Math type (please visit the website at www.mathtype.com for free limited trial).
- All Figures, diagrams should be converted into JPEG with high resolution.

References should be listed alphabetically at the end of the article, giving the names of journals in full. Titles and subtitles of articles, books, and journals should have main words capitalized. Titles of books and journals will be printed in italics and should therefore be underlined.
The Harvard System of referencing should be used for all manuscript(s) submitted to the Journal for all sources. All sources should be listed together; there should not be separate lists for books, journal articles and electronic sources. Making a list of what you have used must be appropriate to the type of source used; the details you need to record will vary according to the source. Please also note the following in relation to the references:
- Please use the word "references" not "Bibliography"
- Please ensure to cite each reference in the text at an appropriate place. A complete reference list should be provided for every in-text citation
- Do not include any references that you have not cited in the text
- Your reference list should not be numbered (i.e. 1,2,3---)
- Cite sources written in different language: Use both original title and a translated title
BOOK, etc. REVIEWS
The IJMCS welcomes approaches from academics, graduate students or practitioners interested in writing book, etc. reviews. Publishers and authors interested in having their books, etc. reviewed, or anyone wishing to suggest a book, etc. for review/volunteer to write a book review are asked to contact the Book Review Editor in the first instance. All book, etc. reviews should be submitted via the journal's submission website.
Permission to reproduce copyright material, for print and online publication in perpetuity, must be cleared and if necessary paid for by the author. Evidence in writing that such permissions have been secured from the rights-holder must be made available to the editors. It is also the author's responsibility to include acknowledgements as stipulated by the particular institutions.
